It was on October 25, 2010 that our CEO Paulo Ferreira officially opened the doors of Multicargo Transportes e Logística Lda, a challenge that was much desired and planned, on a date that was also not left to chance.
When we asked our CEO what motivated him to start this project, his answer was:
“The main motivation is the great passion I have for transportation and international relations. For more than 30 years I have developed a strong relationship with this business area, always looking to innovate and find solutions for our clients and partners. Even today, 35 years after taking my first steps in this business as a courier, I find the motivation I need to bring this project to a successful conclusion, always with the precious help of the entire Multicargo team.”

Services developed with Portuguese companies in mind
From the very first day at Multicargo, the management’s vision has been one of partnership with Portuguese companies, and in this sense we work according to the needs of those who come to us.
It was with this in mind that Multicargo launched its own groupage/consolidation maritime services.
The aim of these services is to make it possible for all companies in the Portuguese market to choose maritime transportation, combining all its advantages, regardless of whether or not they have enough cargo to fill a container.
